When my dad died two years ago and we were packing up the house to sell, my Mom showed me a stack of notes she had saved from my Dad. Most mornings my dad would write her a sweet note just saying good morning or perhaps letting her know of appointments they had scheduled for that day. Dad would tape them on the mirror in their bathroom where mom would see it first thing. What a wonderful surprise to have every morning - a sweet note from your true love. Unbeknownst to my mom, I borrowed the notes and was trying to find a way to commemorate it for her as a Christmas gift. I found a local business that turned the note into a beautiful framed wooden keepsake. It is not the same as my dad being here and writing it himself, of course, but now she can put it in her bathroom to see his sweet message of love to her every morning.
